Château Valentons Canteloup & Château Bois Malot

Founded in 1916 northeast of Bordeaux, Château Bois Malot & Château Valentons Canteloup is a fourth-generation family estate crafting exceptional wines across 25 hectares in AOC Bordeaux Supérieur.

What drew us to this producer is their patient late-vintage release philosophy. They firmly believe wine should never be enjoyed immaturely or rushed before proper bottle aging. By cellaring their reds at the château, the wines develop incredible complexity and smooth, rich flavors. When you open a bottle, it’s at peak drinking perfection—ready to enjoy immediately or cellar further, delivering true value in every glass.

Committed to Sustainable Agriculture (Agriculture Raisonnée) since 1998, the family handles every step on-site—from vine to bottle. They cultivate classic Bordeaux varieties including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Sémillon, and Sauvignon Blanc & Gris.

Celebrated for their elegance, generous fruit, and effortless drinkability, these wines consistently capture top honors—winning medals in Paris, Bordeaux, and Los Angeles, and earning 90+ point ratings in Wine Enthusiast.
